Day 1 : Arrival in the Mt.Everest Nepal TIA Kathmandu (1400m)

Once you arrive at the airport, our representatives will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, we will conduct a pre-trek briefing to prepare you for the trek. Later, you can take a short stroll in the lively Thamel area.

Day 2 : Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2,610 M)

30 min Flight to Lukla; 3-4 hrs Trek;

Early morning, take a scenic flight to Lukla. Upon arrival, start trekking towards Phakding, passing through picturesque landscapes and crossing suspension bridges. Overnight stay in Phakding.

Day 3 : Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 5-6 Hours

Challenges of the Budget Everest Base Camp Trek

The Everest Base Camp Trek is essentially a long trek at altitude, it does not require any specialized training or mountain climbing abilities. While this trek is accessible for anyone with basic fitness levels, there are some considerations to keep in mind before embarking on the journey.

Length: The trek lasts for 9 out of the 12 scheduled days, covering roughly 15 kilometers each day. However, be prepared to walk on rocky and occasionally icy paths, which might slow you down.

Altitude: The biggest challenge is the altitude. Therefore, it's highly recommended to consult your doctor before embarking on this adventure.

Preparations to increase your fitness through gym workouts or longer treks will assist you greatly in handling the climb to Everest Base Camp.


Ideal Time for the Affordable Everest Base Camp Trek

Although the Everest region is accessible throughout the year, the ideal time for Everest Base Camp Budget Trek is during spring and autumn. Spring months between March and May offer pleasant weather, longer daylight hours and the beautiful sight of wildflowers and rhododendrons.

Autumn months between September and November are ideal for hikers who wish to see the Himalayas at their finest. With less rain, clear skies, and fantastic views, you might want to consider this time for your hike. However, if you wish, you can undertake this adventure in the remaining months.

Nonetheless, off-seasons like monsoon and winter offer a distinctive Everest Base Camp experience. The sky often clears up once you cross Namche Bazaar, even during monsoon. Accommodation During the Budget EBC Trek

In keeping with our commitment to offering the finest, most comfortable, and safe accommodation, during your city stays, you will be accommodated in a standard traveller's hotel providing essential amenities.

During the trekking days, you'll get to experience local tea houses run by Sherpa families on the Everest Base Camp trail. These lodges feature a warm and welcoming public space equipped with a large stove. The rooms are twin-sharing, and guests have to use communal toilets and bathrooms. We strive to provide the best available accommodations.

Please note, during peak seasons, accommodations may get limited especially in high altitude areas such as Gorakshep. In such case, shared room accommodation might be the available option even if you've requested a single room and an extra fee will be charged for single rooms.
